How do you clean Anti Vandal grease from carpets?

A neighbour has spread Anti-vandal grease on their wall and fence, unfortunately my cats seem to like to wander along there. Much as I have tried to train them.....the cats that is.......they still haven't learnt to wipe their feet when they come in. I now have greasy paw prints all over my nice cream woolen rug and beige carpet. Please HELP!!!!!
